Why email, not social?
There are two things I enjoy about social media: viewing images and making connections. I can do without the algorithms, ads, likes, spam and everything else that comes with social media.
This is my way of sharing work – mine and others’ – with fellow photographers without the noise of social platforms.
Why feature guest photographers?
My interest in sharing other photographer’s work is multi-faceted:
- Keeps each issue fresh – if my image doesn’t click, theirs might.
- Introduces photographers you might not find on social media.
- Helps build connections across the photography community.
- A rising tide raises all boats.
What’s included?
- Two photographs every two weeks – one mine, one from a guest – with brief commentary.
- Most images are landscape photography.

Yes, please email me your recommendation(s).
How can I see previous issues?
Actually, when you subscribe to Double Exposure, the first email you’ll receive is issue #1. Fourteen days later you’ll receive issue #2. If your subscription to Double Exposure is active, you’ll receive all of the images in due time.
